Go Bears!

Another Big Game win for the Bears! Imagine how spoiled those current undergrads must be, all thinking that this is a normal occurence. Just another year to spend with The Axe. Ho hum. This must be how they felt over at Stanford while I was at Cal. I believe it was a 7 year losing streak, though I only saw 6 of those. Only. Sigh... Ah well, it just makes all the more sweeter for us, who have endured those losses.

I'm not much of a tv-football watcher. I usually only see an entire game if I'm actually at the game and thus pretty much forced to watch (though I did see that first win in 2002 in its entirety). It's hard to enjoy a game unless you care and I care much more when I'm at the game.

So today I had the game on while I was OUTLINING. Ugh. But I was very productive (the fear has taken ahold) so I'm happy about that. Seriously, fear is the best motivator. Why do I read for class? Because I'm afraid I'll get called on. Why do I study so hard? Because I'm afraid I'll fail. FEAR. And really, I've probably never been as on top of things as I have been this last year and a half in law school. That's right kids, instill the FEAR, and you'll get results. How sad.

Update: Remember Mike's magically appearing license plate frame? Well, turns out his landlord bought it at a garage sale for him and just left it at his door. How thoughtful! He didn't mention it to Mike until now because he thought it was self explanatory. How on earth is that self explanatory??

Mystery solved. Done and done. Now, enough with this nonsense! Get back to outlining!

Unexpected gifts are the best! I suppose they can be weird when left without any notes.

I'm glad to hear we won! I'm cheering in joy from across the pond.
