Oh happy day

Went to OASES trivia bee on Sat night and, it turns out, winning is fun! Well, it would have been. Actually, we experienced a fleeting moment of euphoria when we came in first after the fourth round. Oooo ... that final lightening round did us in! Why wouldn't "You Can Do It" Carebear be wearing a "thumbs up" sign?

But we did manage to come in a respectable 3rd out of 23 teams. Go Team Awesome! I mean, "PHOSITA of Trivia." That's "Person Having Ordinary Skill In The Art." For all those not in patents. And for ALL those who don't go to patents.

But really, it's about the kids. It's for the kids. They're the real winners.

Awaiting the final score with bated breath

Went to Fenton's afterward, where we indulged in gooey creamy sundaes.

Oh, it's gooey!

according to wikipedia (wikipedia knows EVERYTHING!)

Do-Your-Best Bear - A recent addition to the toy line (2004), Do-Your-Best Bear helps people be the best they can. His symbol--a colourful kite--reminds everyone that the sky's the limit when you do your best. However, he is the only one in the Kingdom of Caring who cannot fly a kite!

I didn't know there were NEW Care Bears! I smell something fishy.

Perhaps we can create a new toy-line of "Uncaring Bears". They can shout out to the world their motto, "We don't care!"

Pessimist Bear wears a black cloud on his tummy. Plague Bear boasts a locust. Armageddon Bear proudly shows his mushroom cloud.

Wait...did that iced cream have cholesterol? If so, is there any way that I can regurgitate it over 1 week afterwards?
