Over the top under The Big Top
Cirque du Soleil is nutso. There are so many amazing things about this show, and let's just start with the fact that it's in a tent in a parking lot. I mean, it's a theater. In a parking lot.
The entire thing is an exercise of pushing the boundaries of human physicality. There are people juggling other people with their feet. An act combining trampolines and a climbing wall. And a tightrope walker who was subjected to this type of brainstorming session: "I know, let's make him walk on a not-tight-rope, one that's just totally loose. Oh, on a bicycle, NO, a unicycle! ON HIS HEAD!! lol! That would be hilarious! Let's make him do that!"
It was all almost as amazing as the woman on crutches, going up stairs, carrying a baby. Now THAT'S a feat.

"Slack rope!"
I wish I ran away and joined the circus. :-/ That's such an underrated career choice.
Or, hey brother. Why don't you stand on my HEAD. While I'm UPSIDEDOWN. Balanced on a CHAIR. On at TIGHTROPE.
