Identity crisis

I took my dogs to a nearby school and found a couple other dogs playing in the field as well. After watching him romp with a black lab for a while, I called Jake back. Both dogs came running. The other owner called her dog back. They both ran back. I called again. He came, other dog in tow. Then they both ran back to the other woman. I got a little impatient. Jake, c'mon. I called one more time and here they both came again. At this point, her dog wouldn't leave us and she finally came over to collect him.

"Jake! Come!" she yelled as she ran up. Both dogs turned their heads. Ohhhh. Is this what happens when you yell "Mike!" in an office cafeteria?

It's also what happens when you shout "Audrey Lo!" at a Dragonboat Festival.

LOL!!!

They were being good dogs!!! I wonder if they felt special that this total stranger knew their name. I have to say that I'm pretty impressed that golden Jake kept responding to his name!
