The Emerald Isle
So here are a couple of thing about Ireland:
If you go in late March to early April, it will rain a lot. You might visit the Cliffs of Mohr and they might look like this:

If it doesn't rain, the sky is blue blue and the grass is green green. Probably as a result of the aforementioned raining. And so you might go on the best bike ride of your life.
There are a lot of stone walls. A LOT.

A lot of places open in April. If you get there on March 31, that's not good enough, no matter how much you have to go to the bathroom.

They like their castles.

Even normal houses like to pretend they're castles.

The cliffs are both craggy and staggering. But don't stagger around them, you might die. So crawl up to the edge on your stomach and peer over. (Add this to the list of Things You'd Never Be Allowed To Do In The U.S.)
You might find yourself wanting to do an Irish jig everywhere. Of course, there, they just call it a jig.
